We started a garden in 2025! It was awesome! and you can help in 2026. Organic seeds, starter beds, greenhouse, irrigation drip, rototiller, fencing, canning supplies, and a big freezer.
Ground Control - Pine Ridge
Ground Control was established in 2021, for the kids of Pine Ridge: an afterschool, every day, all season skatepark and multi media studio. We are skaters, performers, musicians, artists & new media storytellers.
Media Capacity & Job Training
We are all about new media opportunities in support of the Oglala people. We are writing grants for job training programs and capacity building in tv, film, and new media. We are young storytellers!
Part of the skatepark is a stage with adjacent green screen tv studio, where we produce live shows, scripted series, or documentary with pro audio and lighting.
We are finishing out our building, adding heat and air conditioning... 'cuz pipes freeze in the winter and it's 95º in July indoors. We are adding a kitchen to go with the garden and provide healthy meals and snacks for our crew.
